Not unless your eyesight stretches a 1,000 miles to Malmo.

That will be the queue for home tickets, NOT train/match tickets for Doncaster.

I know but didnt want to start a new thread
  • Any idea when the away tickets will be released?
  • Went to book the trains and saw that for 2 adults return it was coming to £170. A lot more than it was about 10 minutes prior!

Anyway, I bit the bullet and booked them. Just need to get 2x match tickets now.

You'd like to think Tuesday, the interesting thing will be how they distribute them.

Can’t believe how expensive rail travel is in UK nowadays. Isn’t there a high speed train to Donny. Hope everyone has safe travels and enjoys the game. I will be over if we get to Wembley. COYA

There's a group discount if you do it through LNER website. Still outrageously expensive though, for a journey of less than 2 hours on a weekend. Can fly to Spain and back for less.

Yeah I know that. You can fly to Spain and back in a week's time for less.

It is profoundly wrong that it's cheaper for one person to drive than for one person to get the train.

This is the problem over here, the rail companies do not encourage people to travel with them by making it affordable.

Not so many years ago the trains would be packed, nowadays the trains are normally half empty.

It is very reasonable if you book in advance, but not everybody is an organised and boring bugger like me.

Yeah, I agree. It's fine if you're quick off the mark with the advance fares, that's not always possible though.

I just can't see any justification for what they charge at short notice. It's not as if it's a luxurious experience.
  • booked up getting to Donny about 8.20 sat night back 4,30 Sunday.

    We’re on the way....
You’ll be there far too early
He’s on the dj coach so in actual fact, he’s timed it just about right
  • Just an idea......it would seem that the rail companies have ramped up the price since the game was confirmed!
If you are traveling in a group why not get a train to Newark.....plenty of trains to and from Kings Cross.
Order a mini bus from a Doncaster based taxi company to pick up at Newark and also pick up after the game back to Newark.
No idea of the cost for say an 8 seater. I’ll try to find out.
Doncaster is only about a 45 minute or so run from Newark up the A1.
Worth looking into and might save you a few quid?
  • Looks like you save £40 For 3 of you would then need to pay for mini bus
