Gamesmanship

Gamesmanship is the use of dubious methods to win or gain a serious advantage in a game or sport. It has been described as "Pushing the rules to the limit without getting caught, using whatever dubious methods possible to achieve the desired end".

Fair to say that the Birmingham bench deployed a bit of this when they chucked the ball onto the field yesterday to waste some additional time.

What other times can you remember gamesmanship being deployed by or against the Addicks?

I'll start - we were playing Oldham in League One years ago when Paul Dickov was their manager. It was 1-1 going into the closing stages as we were pushing for a late winner. We won a free-kick right by their technical area and Dickov himself ran onto the pitch and stood in front of the ball to stop us taking it quickly. Never seen a manager do that before or since....
