My 11 year old had her friend over on Saturday and her friend asked me how long dinner would be. I put my hands out about a foot apart and said about this long. Her friend just looked at me, my daughter rolled her eyes and said “that’s a proper dad joke”. Her friend said that her dad yells rubbish jokes as well.
M wife laughed and said “what are you going to do now she doesn’t find all your crappy jokes funny?”

We had that a year or so ago.
I don’t get it.
Don’t worry Oz. We’ll get Len to type it out again for you.
This one has been around for a while but it makes me chuckle.
After every flight, UPS pilots fill out a form, called a "gripe sheet" which tells mechanics about problems with the aircraft. The mechanics correct the problems, document their repairs on the form, then pilots review the gripe sheets before the next flight.
Never let it be said that ground crews lack a sense of humor. Here are actual maintenance complaints submitted by UPS pilots ("P") and solutions recorded ("S") by maintenance engineers:
P: Left inside main tire almost needs replacement.
S: Almost replaced left inside main tire.
P: Test flight OK, except auto-land very rough.
S: Auto-land not installed on this aircraft.
P: Something loose in cockpit
S: Something tightened in cockpit
P: Dead bugs on windshield.
S: Live bugs on back-order.
P: Autopilot in altitude-hold mode produces a 200 feet per minute descent
S: Cannot reproduce problem on ground.
P: Evidence of leak on right main landing gear.
S: Evidence removed.
P: DME volume unbelievably loud.
S: DME volume set to more believable level.
P: Friction locks cause throttle levers to stick.
S: That's what friction locks are for.
P: IFF inoperative in OFF mode.
S: IFF always inoperative in OFF mode.
P: Suspected crack in windshield.
S: Suspect you're right.
P: Number 3 engine missing.
S: Engine found on right wing after brief search.
P: Aircraft handles funny.
S: Aircraft warned to: straighten up, fly right, and be serious.
P: Target radar hums.
S: Reprogrammed target radar with lyrics.
P: Mouse in cockpit.
S: Cat installed.
P: Noise coming from under instrument panel. Sounds like a midget pounding on something with a hammer.
A father is listening to his daughter say her prayers before bed.
The daughter says “God bless Mummy and God Bless Daddy and God bless Grandma and good bye Grandad.”
The father says, “Good bye Grandad? Why is that?” The daughter says, “Just because I felt like it.” The next day, Grandad drops dead.
The father can’t believe the coincidence, but decided not to question it. That night, he listens to the daughter’s prayers again. She says, “God bless Mummy and God bless Daddy and goodbye Grandma.” The father is shocked again and asks his daughter why, but she says again, “Just because I felt like it.” The next day, the Grandma drops dead and now the Father is getting worried but doesn’t know what to do, so he tries to forget about it.
That night, he listens to his daughter again and she says, “God bless Mummy and goodbye Daddy.” The father is now terrified and goes to work the next day sweating, cancels all of his meetings, and hides in his office for the whole day. He doesn’t go home and stays there until midnight. He’s very surprised. ‘I’ve cheated death!’ he thinks to himself, then rushes home.
His wife asks, “Where have you been?!” and the husband says, “Oh don’t ask me any questions, today’s been miserable.” The wife replies, “Your days been miserable? Well, listen to my day! Firstly, the milk man drops dead on the porch…”
A notorious Motor cycle gang President, finds out that his Treasurer, Theo, has cheated his club out of $2,000,000.00.
His treasurer is deaf. That was the reason he got the job in the first place. It was assumed that Theo would hear nothing about club business, so he would never have to testify in court.
When the Prez goes to confront Theo about his missing $2 million, he takes along his Vice President who knows sign language.
The MC prez tells the VP, "Ask him where the money is!
The VP, using sign language, asks Theo, Where's the money?
Theo signs back, "I don't know what you are talking about."
The VP relays the reply, "He says he doesn't know what you are talking about".
The prez pulls out a pistol, puts it to Theo’s head and says, "Ask him again and tell him if he doesn't answer I'll kill him!"
The VP signs to Theo, "He'll kill you if you don't tell him."
Theo trembles and signs back, "OK! You win! The money is in a brown briefcase, buried behind the shed at my cousin Ray’s house.
The prez asks the VP, "What did he say?"
The VP replies..... "He says you don't have the balls to pull the trigger."
