http://www.thisislondon.co.uk/standard/article-23757371-police-pinpoint-the-capitals-new-terrorist-hotspot-crystal-palace-fc.do;jsessionid=456B428CE08B6BE33AE595E8A858DAE2

From the Sub Standard

PS this is posted as a slightly humorous story about Palace but which may have an impact on visiting fans.

Please lets not let it get into a political debate about the rights and wrongs of anti-terrorism policy in the UK.

Ketman, can you ask your dad if Charlton are also covered in the same way.

  • Think they got the wrong end of the stick when Jordan requested permission from the authorities to feel up thousands of blokes and empty their bags before they enter his "place".
  • first and only time you'll ever see Selhurst labelled a "crowded place"
  • Poor old Bob from Cheam. He should have beaten that kid up, its the palace way
  • On a serious point, it's got nothing to do with the potential for a terrorist attack in or near the ground. It's just so that the OB can treat normal ordinary people going about their everyday business like shite - though as this is Palarse we are talking about, people like that will be few and far between!

or are used to it (with SJ in charge of their club)!
  • Cue all the Nigels rushing on with their "take" on things.
  • The Forum needs tidying up. Too much non-football stuff, too much contraversial topics, too many people looking to get a rise out of others, or indulge in petty pointscoring, and too many people not showing respect to other users, or the ethos of the site.
  • I'm glad that the authorities have finally recognised the existence of an 'axis of evil' which roughly equates to the area between South Norwood, Thornton Heath and Croydon.

I hope Jordan's not secretly trying to develop a nuclear capability. He certainly didn't spend all his money on the ground. Call Hans Blix somebody.
