    I rang the other CP at the training ground and he said that CP the manager has told him the squad list but they are yet to be submitted to the FL or announced to us because there will be two new signings before 11.45am on Monday and the FL need to be informed by midday Monday latest.

    The fact the club haven't released the squad numbers yet (they had to be in with the league by noon) suggests there are moves afoot. We don't want potential buyers knowing which of our players haven't been assigned a number (as it makes clear that we want rid), for example...

    In my opinion it's his number until he leaves, same as 7 is Wagstaff's even though in my opinion Green will be the "7" on the pitch if you get what I mean. Don't like taking numbers away from people when they are proper numbers i.e. 1-11
