Given his love of football pin badges and all the money being raised at the moment, I thought it might be great to have a Headphones Norm inspired pin badge. Could then be sold to raise money for charity or the community trust.33

The Charlton logo with the headphones would make a brilliant pin badge!PeakieRocket said:Given his love of football pin badges and all the money being raised at the moment, I thought it might be great to have a Headphones Norm inspired pin badge. Yes, I'm not sure wh yet was then? The Brum fans in the pub before the game thought it was going to be in the 13th minute but that timing coincided with with Lloydy needing to go off the pitch, Kaminski going down and the Brum crowd loudly shouting and booing it all....... so not sure if that made them re-think the timing?Arthur_Trudgill said:

Very nice touch, but what was the significance of the timing?Weegie Addick said:Classy touch. Ref paused the game for applause again too.
Someone near where I was sitting mentioned something about the timing being to do with the number of consecutive years Norm had a season ticket.3 -
This would be so fitting.Stuart_the_Red said:

Credit where it's due, a lot of other team's fans have shown respect to our Norm. 👏ValleyGary said:Always disliked Birmingham but that is fucking class.5 -
I think the pin badge is genius and perhaps a portion of income made could go to the Heart foundation or something along those lines.10

I feel stuff like that needs to be properly communicated with the family, and any sort of merchandise (or collection items) should be consulted with them before making and shared among us.Just want to avoid doing anything in poor taste.

I had know Norman since 1989 when he was the barman at the Million hare pub on Warspite road in Woolwich and I was a fresh faced 15 year old starting his first real job driving a fork lift truck in a warehouse.
From the first day I met him to the last time I saw him earlier this season he always had a smile on his face and would talk to anyone and give up his time to talk to you.
A true gentleman who will be missed by everyone connected and not connected to CAFC!
I'm honoured to say for 36 years Norman was my mate and I will miss him.
God bless fella!

Lovely words Alan, but you may wish to put an edit on your penultimate sentence.AL_CAFC said:I had know Norman since 1989 when he was the barman at the Million hare pub on Warspite road in Woolwich and I was a fresh faced 15 year old starting his first real job driving a fork lift truck in a warehouse.

There was a minute's applause at the Valley yesterday before the women's game. Watford players and fans all joined in.9

Its great to see the genoristy of Addicks thus far to Norms Memorial fund, be good if the CAST crowdfunder could be shown on the big screen on Saturday & in the programme, as not all ADDICKS will be aware of it.
Maybe this is already planned.......

A large ask, especially at this point of the year, but one that we think we can hit- and enables a similar permanent tribute to Seb’s Mosaic.
The decision on what the tribute at The Valley will be is yet to be had, but this will be fully working with Norms Family and their wishes!Let’s get it to £10k by 3pm Saturday 🫡🫡1 -
Can we link the monies from the Pompey one to pay for whatever tribute is decided? Would make sense.2

Across 3 fundraisers in the weeks leading up to Xmas, around £18,500 has been raised. It’s an an incredible amount of money.2
