Karlan Ahearne Grant (Joins Crawley on loan - Page 6)
Karl Robinson made a point at bromley addicks that KAG is trying to be to much like a winger. Think we saw a prime example on Sunday, we broke it was 2 against 2 if i remember correctly our 2 was kag and holmes And yet for some reason it was KAG running down to wing and Holmes in the box. Also noticed when he came on he…

You're the Board - what are the targets and expectations for the 26/27 season?
No time to dwell on the achievement of staying up, let's immediately look at next year! Particularly with all the discussions this year about whether we / Jones were meeting expectations, underachieving or overachieving, it would be interesting to hear what everyone thinks we should be aiming for this year (and maybe to…

Alan Rothwell RIP
Was in Coronation Street from the very first episode playing Ken Barlows brother. Following a very big row with my old man (actually quite funny when I look back on it), I left home at 16 and got a room in this big old Victorian house which was owned by Alan Rothwell who lived upstairs with his wife. Being so young, he…

The £5 pint
It's here. Had my first £5 pint in a "normal" pub last night, i.e. not a bar/club, etc - just a run of the mill boozer. £5.17 for a pint of fairly tasteless italian fizzy water (aka Peroni). I promised myself I would give up pub bozzing as soon as this day came. A sad sad day for all concerned.

Pubs, and the demise of.
Some of you may be aware that the Porcupine in Mottingham has closed down and been bought by Lidl. My personal view is that the place was a dump and would rather it became a Harvester or something along those lines but 1400 people have signed a petition calling for the pub to be saved. Have Pubs had their day or what?

As with the past 2 summers, I will update this thread with a list of all incomings for teams in our division. However Norwich jumped the gun and actually announced theirs last week, so will start…

VAR - are you a fan?
Have to say I was never a fan of it before it was introduced but given the constant criticism of referees it was inevitable it would be used. It has been a disaster in the Women's World Cup - it's slowed the game down massively and incorrect decisions still appear to be made in respect of penalties and offsides. I'm also…

Songs A-Z with live video (New rules from page 114)
I saw this idea elsewhere and thought some would like to try it for fun. The rules are you post a song starting with the next letter alphabetically than the one before, but including a live video. Football facts that don't sound true (but are)
Inspired by the Aguero not being a PotY conversation, what other facts do you know that sound like they shouldn't be true but are? I'll start with a couple. Could a Scottish style championship split work in the EFL?
I’d never really understood how this works until reading this article It has led me to wonder if it could work in the EFL. Next season the play-offs are going down to 8th place, an idea I don’t like. I would find it more acceptable to go down to 12th place and then add to the points tally in a split league. This would…
