Think we'll possibly see Olaofe and Leaburn starting up top against Watford, given how both have done in Pre-Season, but we've definitely got options now in attack.
Really does feel again, as though last year was all about the Defence, making sure we were tight at the back and getting that right, especially after the last couple of years, now thats been "resolved" we've seemingly turned our attention more to the lack of goals that we had issue with at times.
Wow - I’ve been slightly sceptical about our transfer business so far, but this is a really significant move.
Had a great season last year & tons of potential, but it’s likely to be a huge amount of money for us on a player who has only had one decent season (and at a lower level). Really admire the ambition of this signing though.
Signing the top scorer from League 1, for any club in either the Championship or League 1, is a big deal.
Look at last year when May was signed from us for Birmingham. As others have said even if his production halves this season, that's a dozen goals in the championship and as we've seen recently it's not that many players that hit double digits.
If we end up signing Knibbs (or a similar player) then we're nearing completion, and you can't say we're not giving it a good go

2024: What the f**k are we doing selling May. 2025: What the f**k is even going on
Imo, so far our best summer signing. Only 23 and still has his career ahead of him.
He will be great on bench to begin with. Like a hungry wolf when Charlton need an equaliser or a winner
Not convinced we've spent over £3m for an impact player off the bench.
Godden is 34, I can see him taking a bit of a back seat and helping to mentor Charlie from the off, and being the fresh legs off the bench for the most part

Very happy. Any idea why this has been announced on Sunday morning? It might just be because there is no reason not to announce it today.

Good luck, be a winner.

Welcome Charlie. Good to see the owners stepping up with some cash too. We must stay in this division.

let him go? You’d have thought after last season they should want to use him.
