@Henry Irving. it is a pity, is it not, that for the purpose of clarity @CafcFacts did not set the figure of 119 in context by saying this reflected the club's heavy reliance on loan players, short term contracts to injury-prone players, and rushing academy players into the first team in the hope of a quick sale within the year, all of which have characterised the Duchatelet era.
Without that context, there will be those who look at this stat and think "what a beneficent owner those fans have, buying so many players for the team"; Addicks know better!

You'd have to be as stupid as Roland to think that!

Also how many made their debuts under Dowie, Pardew, Parkinson and Powell?
People could see what a great benifical owner we had bringing us such fine players as Murty, Nobel, Parrot, Purso, Fleetwood and Sinclair.
No uncapped players in the current squad. Nearly all the U23s have played and we have no minor cups this season so 887 and 888 likely to be new signings in January when we sell Taylor, Williams, Pearce and Philips : - )
He’s the first Charlton player to play in a league game since I can recall having a clue about anything prolly 40 years ago that I’d never ever heard of till he came on . i liked the few touches he had and his movement , this kid has a bit about him or I’ve got my new owner rose tinted glasses on !

It's the conclusions that one draws from them that are significant.
I agree with your analysis and suspect that so does @CafcFactsStats

Anyone would think Roland invented crap signings.

The Eltham based attacking midfielder, who can also play the number 10 role, is the 888th first team Addick since we joined the league in 1921.
He is, most likely, either the last debutant of the Belgium era or the first of the Abu Dhabi era, depending on how you look at it.
He turned 19 on 20 November.
At 5' 8" he just about passes the CL height test.
He captained the U18s last season scoring 11 goals from 27 appearances. He also played 7 times for the U23s.
