As well as Treders being picked for the England one day squad in Sri Lanka, Sam Billings and Adam Riley have been selected for the England Performance squad there too:
Hope Riley can celebrate his call up by somehow picking up the two wickets he needs for his 50 county championship wickets. There is little other Kentish interest left in this game. It's a stretch for D B-D to get the 50 runs he needs for his county championship 1,000 particularly if his running is as bad as it was in the first innings!
It's finding someone who will step up from the rest that will be the task. None of our other fast bowlers have shown any consistency and the all rounders, Ball and Haggett, have yet to really prove that they can live up to that mantle.

60 behind.
Me thinks that Billings might start putting bat to ball before his time at the crease runs out.
Billings lbw b Miles 73
Why doesn't our tail wag like virtually everyone elses does against us!
It's just not cricket for bowlers to score runs.
Lead 223.

349-6 and 364 behind.
Edit - three wickets in four balls for him.
What happened to the old days when 10 & 11 didn't know which end to hold a bat with?
In theory if their number 11 can still tonk it around then 450 ish is gettable in 4 sessions.
On the other hand it's Kent.....
6 wickets for Griffiths.
Kent 40-2 D B-D and Fabian gone.
Season's gonna end with a whimper.
