Defoe's goal against West Ham was better IMHO.

Bale was largely anonymous tonight until AVB moved him inside. Holtby changed the game when he came on, looks a real good prospect.

C'mon, he does make it look simple but that was a great goal by Bale, after riding the tackle his control at speed is amazing. Great vision also.

I think from memory that a lot of people said he needed a service from midfield and questioned whether he would get it with our midfield as it was.
