Nice to see Billy French getting games. He was excellent a year or so ago against Eastbourne United and I haven't seen him in any teams until recently.
Sparrows Lane? A short journey for the Millwall players, then could even get changed in their own training ground then walk over!
Millwall's training ground is in Bromley, they moved from the adjacent ground to Sparrows Lane several years ago.
Thanks, for some reason I thought they were still the other side of the hedge
So BOTH Palace and Millwall train in Bromley. That explains a few things about Bromley people
Millwall's training ground is the old Midland/HSBC Ravensbourne sports ground.
Went there a few times as a kid when my old man played football in the banks league. From memory it wasn't particularly popular with Midland/HSBC staff. Around 1990 HSBC decided it had too many sports ground in the area (the main ground at Beckenham, Ravensbourne and Samuel Montague, which is now Shooters Hill Sports & Social club) so looked to close one. Ravensbourne was their first choice due to it's unpopularity, but they owned both Ravensbourne and Beckenham, whilst they only leased Samuel Montague off of the boys club (of the same name which shares the same field), so ended up closing that one.
My parents actually ran that club from 86 to 90, so it resulted in my Dad going back to work for the bank in the city.

I never understand these comments. You do realise that Greenwich is predominantly Millwall and always has been. Nothing has changed
Rubbish, I have lived in the borough of Greenwich for 76 years and no way there are more spanner fans.
Greenwich is a big Borough but it's mainly Millwall trust me. 76 yrs ago maybe it was I wasn't alive so can't argue with that. I've had my head kicked in by Millwall In Greenwich a few times
One impact of the removal of the salary cap could be that over 21s not currently in the first team squad, which was limited to iirc 23 players, can now more easily be moved into the first team squad although Covid19 protocols will hamper this.

Is this the actual reason we haven't seen the likes of Mingi, the striker who's name I won't attempt, and others on the bench, at least.
And why we didn't sign a couple of u21s, but over 18s, in the window?
Henry (What an unfortunate name ) and Barker are U18s aren't they?
Henry took his goals well, our keeper not helped by the wind which affected both sides
Two lovely taken goals with both feet. Having a centre midfielder who can chip in with goals is always a huge bonus. If we stay in league 1 next season I think we will see Henry in and around the first time squad.
