Should not be playing !!!! period makes too many mistakes cannot turn on the ball cannot control the ball cannot pass the ball surely there are kids in the U23's who would do a better job ! absolute disgrace of a player, should be stripped of the captain's armband.

Cancel his contract. To be doing that at 35-years-old for the second time in a season is beyond unprofessional.

Always been shit, a centre mid that cannot pass a ball, and turns like a robot

Is his contract up this summer? If it is we should be releasing him.
Yes. The fact that he’s a regular shows how we’ve gone backwards over the last 2 years.
    Cheers Scoham.

With the armband on too, it's completely unacceptable.

Has always given his best but a year past it and not good enough any more.  Always thought I would like to see him stay on as a coach but today's sending off and so soon after another says maybe he does not have the maturity/temperament you would expect of a 35 year old.

If he's so bad why does he keep starting?

Slow, no first touch, poor passing, can’t head it, often out of position.
Only upside is when given a specific job to stop oppo playing.

He's our best tackler and every team needs a ball winner or you would rarely get the ball.
Whatever anyone's opinion is of Pratley (and I'm definitely not defending his two pathetic sendings off), who is a better ball winner than Pratley?

His job is to win the ball and lay it off (I fully accept his limitations).

Thanks Darren gave his all every time, played out of position to help the team and dragged us to Wembley. Best of luck in the future

Nothing but positive words to say about Pratley. Gave his all during those three seasons and scored probably one of the most important goals in our recent history.

Hopefully, he will get another league 1 club and can give him a clap next season.
“and Gillingham’s substitute Darren Pratley has just clattered into Albie Morgan, 30 seconds after coming on and the ref is reaching into his pocket”
That is what he does. And he is good at what he does.

I agree. Not a criticism, merely a prediction (clubs other than Gillingham can be inserted)

The first player who has thanked Bowyer too! It felt that Pratters was with us for longer than 3 years.
Aneke thanked Bowyer on his social media page when he left.

Never gave less than 100% and by all accounts a good influence in the dressing room.
Good luck Darren  in whatever you choose to do next.

Sad to see him go, always gave 100% for us and always did whatever the manager asked. I think the younger players will miss him around as well as was quite a mentor.

We wouldn't have got promoted without him, and not just for that goal.
