When do players find out if they are being retained etc?
My neighbours son has been released. Not because he isn’t a good player. There were players better ahead of him in the pecking order. Evidently, we’re very strong at right back / right wing back. He’s now signed for Millwall

Unfortunately promising midfielder Richard Chin may have fractured his leg yesterday. Has a scan next week.
That's really bad news for the boy. He's a great lad and has a lovely family too and I hope he makes a swift recovery whatever the extent of the injury.
The Addicks' U18s picked up their trophy as they were crowned PDL2 - South champions on Saturday!
They now move on to a national play-off semi-final against either Birmingham City or Sheffield United at The Valley on Saturday. #cafc | http://cafc.co.uk
I hear that James Beadle's brother, Harry, is leaving us - wish him all the very best for the future
Confirmed in the article below that Harry has signed for Colchester. Brendan Wiredu is also under contract with them but, somewhat ironically, a couple of our other former players, Harry Pell and Callum Harriott have been released
I’ve heard Arsenal are signing our young striker Daniel Kanu.
Big shame it true, he’s got a big future
Bugger. Promising attacking players rarely sign professional terms with us so I guess he will join a long list of young deserters such as Defoe, Ramazani, Sarmiento, Abraham, Palmer etc. The one exception being KAG that I can think of.

Birmingham City and Nottingham Forest have attained category 1 status. Peterborough Utd have joined the north section, which will only have 8 teams in it this season.
No changes to the nine team south section.
24 league games - 16 versus the south and 8 versus the north.

Yeah, it’s a massive shame.
Ged Roddy is finding out first hand what a stupid academy structure he’s put in place.

Definitely a promising player.
Signing for Millwall, I mean
They wrap up the regular season against Bristol City on Saturday.
Our play off opponents will be decided on Tuesday.
We lost 4-1 to them in the league, but it was 1-1 until we had a centre back sent off after 68 minutes.
Jude Bellingham's little brother, Jobe, plays for them. If he's half as good as his brother, he'll cause a few problems.
