I am currently in Norn Iron. If I'd known this was on I would probably have popped along. Don't use Twitter.  Nothing on the club's web site...there's an "Academy News" section it would be nice if someone actually populated it with some news...

The club have updated the U18s team page. Some new names to get to know.

I believe that players born after 31st August 2004 are still scholars (school year dates are used). This would explain Kanu, Anderson, Mitchell and Huke being listed despite having already signed pro deals.

Yep that makes sense as they’ll be turning 18 during the season, i.e. second year u18s.

Terrell Agyemang is the one on trial at Man City.  Apparently we released him but I saw a rumour he’d turned down our offer.  Shame, decent player

The U18s have opened their league campaign with a 3-0 win against Sheffield United.

Sheffield United hadn't lost a league game since March 2021.
