  • If he was out "long term" wouldn't we have terminated his loan and bought someone else in?

Got a feeling from a few things Camara has posted on Instagram that he could be out longterm
I just looked and can't see anything.

Has he done that as stories, because there’s nothing on his main posts since he signed on 18 July?
  • Yeah sorry on his stories. Not actual posts. Will screenshot if there’s anymore
  • Will be back just in time to leave for the AFCON probably  :o

I've tried that approach with our injuries many times before. Doesn't work.

  • Sometimes it's as much about the players head than the injury.

Very early to be suggesting that’s the case here.
Is it, doesn't have a great injury record.
  • Mmmmh doesn't read like good news. Being evasive never a good sign.
  • So even Pearce doesn’t know when he’s back

Don't be so negative, Aneke was being assessed.

We have brought in yet another unfit player. Ipswich must be laughing that we are paying his wages and not them.

This is the list of players we have brought in who are not fully match fit.

    Camara
    Taylor
    Edun
Watson T (the other Watson limped off last night as well)
Jones (nearly there but unfit to start)

That is quite an achievement, or to put it another way only May, Campbell C and Isted were definitely fully fit. Abankwah, Tedic and Watson L the jury is out until they have done 90 minutes.

  • So even Pearce doesn’t know when he’s back
Give the man a chance ...... poor old Pearcey has had his hands full, having to step up and with 2 matches in 3 days.
All he'd worry about is those players that he's been told are passed as fit to play, so he can select a matchday squad.

And in a couple of days time Pearce probably won't even be the manager!

  • "I haven't had much to do with the injuries".

So is that the (current) manager saying that no-one has a conversation with him about the current state of injuries and the length of time they're due to be out for?
  • Looks like we took a risk and it hasn’t worked. Another recruitment fuck up. Again, probably, a cheap option.
  • So even Pearce doesn’t know when he’s back
Probably does and he's just deflecting. Pretty poor manager if you didnt know the state of the injured players & when they would be back.
  • I wasn't impressed one bit with Pearcy's answers. He just comes across a sound chap, but not much of a manager.
