Guess that means the end of Curtis Fleming, which I think is a real shame. I guess it was inevitable Jones would bring his own staff in & Paul Hart is a very experienced football man

Was going to say, Fleming was mentioned straight away in the article - so assume he might stay on as a coach.

Another very good appointment.5

Good appointment. Maybe we really are building something.3
-
just what we need an septuagenarian !1
-
Does he pass the age test?3
-
Not surprised after the way he name checked him yesterday.
Good that Jones is getting his own backroom staff and Hart is very experienced. And an ex-defender.
Seem to remember there was a potential conflict of interest with Hart when he was here before with a relative being an agent but can't recall the details now.

Now that is good news. Experience hard line defender that has an understanding of his boss Nathan Jones.2

Good... the more Backroom Staff the better... the more people who already know, and understand the club the better5

The primary consideration is that NJ is given the resources he needs, including the right backroom team, to succeed. Curtis Fleming seems like a very good bloke and hope he is retained on the coaching team.16

I’m happy with this. Another one with previous experience at Charlton too. I seem to remember him doing a decent job back then. Also, I’m pretty sure Chicago Addick called this straight after Jones was appointed.
I didn’t see any mention of it elsewhere, so didn’t think much of it.
Fair play to him on that one.5 -
More good news.2

Fantastic news0

That was quick! I can see Hart at 70 having more of the role Lennie Lawrence had as an assistant elsewhere, rather than being out on the grass all the time, leaving a vacancy for Fleming.1

"Hart, who joins a coaching team that includes Curtis Fleming"
I know it's suggestive rather than conclusive but come on.

Keep clean sheets, outwork the opposition and score goals. If Paul Hart helps with any of that, the first two of which we are especially shit at currently, all good.3

Hart was previously here (although with the academy) from 2011-14. A three year spell where we won this league, then finished 9th in our first year in the Championship.
Glad he’s back in the fold - plenty of experience and clearly knows what he’s doing, especially with younger players which is the way our squad trends in recent years.6 -
I concur will all the posts above.
Having Nathan and Paul Hart as his assistant, who is about as experienced as you could get is very good news.
Paul Hart may be 70 now but the 36 years he has coached and managed will be a great assistants to Nathan.
10 years with the crop of Nottingham Forest and Leeds finest academy boys from 91 to 01, can only help our young players when included in the 18 as so many have looked like rabbits in the headlights and the pressure negates their progress.

I'm surmising from it that I think Fleming could leave as Jones will bring his own people in. Not saying it's wrong, but would be a shame.
