block 142, a row of 5 a double and two singles on there right now

    Gone. Not from me.
1 still there, higher up. Some of these are likely to come back on still within the next few mins. People put in basket, check with friends etc then put back on sale sometimes, so keep watching those still in need

Pain in the neck. The whole bloody thing. Now getting a restricted sale on the club site and not able to log into the view to see the stadium plan :(:/:neutral:
I've just put 2 together in my basket as i thought my sister wanted a couple but she doesn't want to pay that much (£69 each), I'm going to release them now if you're ready.

@Charlton_Stu . That's decent of you. Wanting to buy.
But my charlton account is saying restricted sale ? It was working 10 mins ago. I have restarted laptop, cleared cache, resigned in. Maybe I have 2 seats stuck in sales process that will clear in 45 mins ?
    This process if ***** horrible.
Hoping if more tickets become free that my Charlton account that is now locked is free by then....Grrr.
I've just checked my account again, after I've released them it's saying restricted sales.
Definitely a weird way to go about business as we'd have sold at least another 5k and I'm sure Orient would've sold more if they'd put theirs on general sale before.
  • I think I've noticed an important change in accessing tickets.

Logging in on my season ticket account yesterday (already maxed out on purchases in my name) I was able to log in and buy tickets on CAFC accounts linked to mine.

This morning, the sale is now restricted, and I cannot access it - even though I have linked accounts with eligibility to purchase.

This doesn't cause me an issue, but it may for others if still needing to log in and buy more.

Perhaps all ST holders are locked out, as they've had their chance? Or only those already maxed out in their name. I cannot tell. Or it might just be some momentary adjustments they're making and it'll all come back again soon.

Anyway, just giving the heads up.
But why would they have reached limit when the next phase of sale had no restrictions on numbers you can buy? My guess is they've got more and are updating the system now.
The "why" - who knows, I'm struggling to keep up!

We're still in Phase 5 as far as I can tell. Obviously @swords_alive can log in so he doesn't have the restriction.

That said, there were a few moments in the home leg sale where sales went offline for a bit and then came back - so you may well be right - here's hoping!

    Yes, i have only bought 1 myself so still have purchasing power (EDIT- no i don't- add to basket only to be told "This event is no longer available for sale"). This could be a big issue for more sales as the existing database drives our sales, getting them for others, but here we are with a restriction on those people. Some may say that is the nature of it, but it would, and is impeding our rate of sales even at this stage. Here's my view at 11.46am of 142, and been tickets in there for at least the past hour, with more added through that period and not getting bought;

  • How much longer do Orient have to sell their current phase?
  • 5pm I think.
  • Assuming they don't go past 517 it leaves around 8k unsold from 518-525 - which would indicate they have sold about 29k

  • Block 126 for those able to buy;

    How does thus even happen?

so unfair when it’s badged by the club as ‘sold out’.

Driving people to get spares and or more in reliable sources.

Player asked how many tickets he needs, he says 8, but then 4 of his mates/family can't come due to work commitments so he tells the club he only needs 4 and they release the other 4 for sale
  • Any chance those could be tickets which were reserved for Charlton players/staff which were unsold and have been put back into the system.
  • Yes, but the point is, our fans cannot buy them.

Should you suffer from a medical condition which requires you to carry medication and/or equipment with you in the event of an emergency, such as a diabetic who many require to carry insulin and needles, we will of course allow these items into the stadium, however we require the following actions / documentation to support your entry to the venue.

    • Contact your doctor or health care professional to ensure you are fit to attend the event at Wembley Stadium connected by EE. This is strongly advised, Wembley Stadium connected by EE cannot provide medical advice to guests prior to an event.
    • Please ensure your doctor or health care professional provides you with written confirmation to confirm your medical condition and the medication and/or equipment you require to bring to the stadium for your welfare in the event of a medical emergency.  Please ensure you bring this letter with you as our stewarding teams will require sight of this letter to allow you entry to the stadium.

That is not easy to do. My wife carries two Adrenaline auto injectors (just in case one doesn't work or is not enough)  for severe allergic and anaphylactic shock episodes. First prescribed in 2001, after a near death experience, she has never had any documentation, just endless repeat prescriptions since.  Getting paperwork and letters from a GP is like trawling through treacle and they charge anything from  £15- £50 plus per document. Her condition is largely self managed, the only time a health professional, other than a GP would get involved is during a A&E resuscitation admission. There is no paperwork, or letters confirming her medical condition, the fact that she carries auto adrenaline injectors is the explanation itself.

Their rules look daunting, but I strongly recommend making a formal exemption request, using this form.

This will eventually lead to an email conversation with a human. You should be ok from this point onwards - no need to antagonise with them, they're a very helpful team.

As a starting point, take a photo of said medication as evidence. Something with her name on, ideally. And say what you're saying on here.

You'll want to ask for an exemption for medication. Ask for an exemption to bring in a bigger bag, too, if having one on the day makes things easier. Ask for a food and drink exemption for the allergy.

Sounds like a ball ache to arrange but better have that now than any issues at the turnstile, or worrying about potential issues between now and then.

You'll end up with a certificate looking something like this, but with their name on it at the top. This is my boy's one, based on a food allergy need to bring own food (obvs), epipen (obvs) and that'll need a bigger bag than A4 to carry (obvs).

    Hope this helps.
I applied for one of these for Mr F  due to his diabetes and issues following his prostate surgery. No photo  required, no need to speak with someone ....Exemption certificate received and printed off to show at the turnstiles.

    Job done .
Exactly - if you make clear the salient points in the initial request, it'll just go through.

Thanks for this info. Prompted by your posts I've just been through the process this morning. From sending in the initial request to getting an email with the exemption certificate took less than 3 hours.

    No probs, happy to help.
  • Logging in on my Orient account I can see they haven't altered their criteria - it's still up to 6 per account holder.

So if this went off sale now for Orient, they’d probably want to close Block 518 for segregation purposes and the maximum put on sale to our fans would be Blocks 519 or 520 through to 525 or 526 I am guessing?

How many tickets is that? 6,000? 7,000?

Be a shambles if they are left unsold.

Not sure we would get them all - Orient would want to be able to put some on General Sale as well I would guess. Even half would do.
Orient can only put them on general sale once we've finished selling to the Charlton database though and what then happens if all those 6-7,000 are sold at that stage which is very possible given how quickly our tickets are going.

I can't see Orient being allowed to general sale unless we're able to as well and i'm not sure we'll have any left then.

Our sell out forced 1,000+ middle tier seats to be released yesterday. I'm not convinced this has happened in the Orient end, so I think they may have room to maneuver in that direction, if we are to be allocated a big chunk of the upper.

    Guesswork, as always.
  • At the moment we have a bigger issue it would seem in that our fans cannot buy the spares in the existing allocation and the ticket office is messaging that this is because it is sold out. So we are probably at an impasse where it would appear (from CAFC and wembley point of view) that we are yet to sell our existing allocation. Ridiculous and hopefully being actively looked in to. (I'm sure it is, as a few have emailed tickets@cafc.co.uk now about this)
  • It not sure if it's incompetence, greed wanting to make money via resellers or not wanting us to have significant more supporters. Probably a combination.

But there are people panicking of they can get a ticket for a game in a few days time when they shouldn't have to.
