    Good chatty interview.

Reference to the Jason Euell song, inspired by Spandau Ballet's song Gold.

Bum Chums, ha ha ........ we used to say that back at school 40 years ago when anyone was really best mates.

Good read, Waggy, or should I say, The Wagster?

says he still lives at home, fair enough, but then later mentions his missus. Didn't think he was married but strange to refer to your girlfriend as your missus.

And fair play to Waggy for apologising to the five-year-old ball boy.

Interesting what he says about 5 or 6 of the squad playing online games together, and how it helps build cameraderie among players at training.

Me too. But then she is married. Not to me though. Lives with me and our boy. You can take the girl out of Medway.

Reckon I could teach him a lesson on COD.

  • i know loads of people who call their bird their missus... i used to do it with my ex-girlfriend. standard. Seems like a nice lad old Wagstaff, I'm sure he's not on a fortune but would've thought he could afford to move out of home now though, I'm sure he earns more than me!

He has been going out with her for quite a while tho - quite a long term one  Shes away at Uni anyway so i dont think they would be living together.
  • I think we need to get a song for Waggy.

I think Waggy is a great lad. Meant him a couple of times and just can't help but think that he is just too nice to be a footballer.

But I sent you away, oh Waggy
Well you kissed me and stopped me from shaking
And I need you today, oh Waggy"

  • He wont be my mate on facebook, I dont like him :)

Maybe its because the mutual friend is Curb-it...

Not at strange at all, in fact I'd say it's pretty normal in fact.

I've a feeling he lives in West Malling or nearby and comes from a reasonably wealthy family, so it's hardly likely that he's living in an average sized house.

Lee Martin, the best player he's played with?!?  Shame he couldn't do it on the pitch.

I laughed at that too. Probably the most overrated charlton player over the last 3 years.
  • I think he was referring to his ability in training rather than in matches, clearly Lee Martin has some talent, but he's one of those frustrating players who looks capable of much more.
