    Grapevine, excellent points on Gough and Pope. As you say that's why you have a development squad. They won't all be retained but that's life.

    I think it is you who has problems with comprehension, I never mentioned loan players playing ahead of anyone at all, I simply stated that retaining the doc was out of our hands, as he was under contact.

    In all fairness to Lincs, I did agree with one of his postings a few weeks ago, because I commented on the fact. It was the only one ever though.

    ever? .. you mean you approve of the present loan system ? .. ask old Floyd M if he's heard of John Hewie, back in the days when men was men and CAFC was as usual skint and struggling, young John played in goal a game or two, talk about goalkeeper loans .. stick Mambo in goal in emergenmcy f f s.. he's big enough

    Matt Elliot wasnt a youth team player.

    He played one game at Selhurst vs Oxford I think. He was utterly useless.

    Think we flogged him to Torquay for 15k.
