John Sullivan was the first person to wear the No.13 shirt in a competitive game since Omar Pouso on the 16th September 2006. So nearly 5 years.

and 'john sullivan' has 12 letters, only 1 less than 13... and 1 is the number usually given to a keeper...  conspiracy theory?

Talking of numbers, the 24 shirt has been intriguingly left vacant with Kermorgant getting 36. Wonder if that means anything. Hmmm

The players didnt understand the gravity of the situation
  • Remember the goal well.  One small step for Ray Treacy, one giant leap from Matt Tees.
  • The shadows from the corner flags are in the wrong direction. This match was played in the Arizona desert.
  • Final Score was Charlton One, Capricorn One.

Do I get a reward for (unintentional) thread hijacking?
  • I missed that stellar performance on the moon - I guess Sky couldnt cover it?
  • Eddie Firmament was still the manager I think.  I remember Keith Peacock went on somemazy solar runs and Paul Went never left their centre forward. Up his uranus all game he was.
  • Peacock was a mercurial influence at that time.
And Eddie never dropped a Clanger
  • Thankfully the idea of changing the club song to the "Green, Green Alien comes crawling along" never caught on but at least it showed some Enterprise.

Man and mankind are the same thing anyway so the famous quote makes no sense
  • Thankfully the idea of changing the club song to the "Green, Green Alien comes crawling along" never caught on but at least it showed some Enterprise.
    It'll never eclipse the original.
  • Paul Went ? He was a lunatic

Just as well Slater wasn't around then or it would have been Blue Moon
  • and those of you who think there was no atmosphere need to raise the bar.
