For those going by train I think there are engineering works between dartford and gravesend with replacement bus, so plan your journeys in advance
    Choo choo!!
  • A question for anyone who drives up north a bit , is the M1 always knackered northward bounds on a Saturday, Bury took me 6 hours rather than 4.

May as well just buy on the day now pal, maybe look on NationalRail.co.uk for cheaper routes.

If anyone is getting into rochdale at 2.02 and it getting a cab to the ground look out for two charlton fans (me and nathan) so we can all save a bit of money ;)

Yep. Don't touch the M1 with a bargepole.

M40 and westwards around Brum for North West games.

    M11, A14, A1M for North East games.

    Parp, Parp.

Thanks Addickted , i'm informed junction 16 of the M25 gets me to the M40 , is it much quicker?  or just a prettier route?

How much quicker would you expect it to be? i know it depends on the traffic and where your coming from.

M1 northbound full of roadworks and speed restrictions. (And southbound on way back!)
  • PS:  M40 is one dull motorway. Take plenty of red bull.
  • Thankyou , how much quicker do you reckon the M40 is?

  • Rant line? So you're not confident about Saturday?!

Is that the number for the Samaritans?
  • Is it? I may ring... I am very grumpy, had train and match tickets for the first two games last season and was on the way up in January when it got postponed.

Wasn't able to make the third game and cannot go tomorrow - still, we might play them again in 30 years.
