I have a Windows 7 laptop which i purchased a few months ago and I need to install Microsoft 2010 to have access to Powerpoint,Word,Excel etc.
The official Microsoft Office appears to cost £190.00 and on a google search I found someone offering it for £39, I have also followed a Youtube video clip as it said I could get it for free but it didn't work, has anyone got any good ideas on how I could get it for free or as cheap as possible?

Are you still in education CEJ? You can get student licences for it here:

Personally, I just use Open Office which is free and works OK for most Office stuff, although it occasionally barfs on tables in Word docs. I've heard good things about LibreOffice too, but never used it myself.0 -

Open Office is very good. I've had no problems with it. Microsoft offer a free 90 day trial for Office 2010.
