    because people generally like to know who they are talking to, and who is saying what, even if they have never met them.

    its generally how a community builds.

    I was thinking about changing my user name and was going to ask for suggestions. Seriously, I was.

    But now I'm worried that I might fall foul of the thought police. I've already had one warning on here, so don't want a red gard - how else would I feel superior?

    I was thinking of "Special Needs" - in reference for my genuine need of a pint of Special most days. That no mark AFKA has put paid to that though. I mean, what has he ever done for the community - or charity for that matter?

    welll im just trying to prove a point.

    people could change my name and start saying scandalous things about me or anyone pretending you were another user. could cause problems. anyway i wasnt allowed to become Off_It so its been fixed.
