going from sallied

can't have sallied but can have sailed

went from dailies to dallies to sallied, an anagram of dallies? , the time lapse has caused confusion .. also, Sailes in no good as it's a proper noun and i also thought that plurals were not allowed and (lastly) what happens when there is NOWHERE to go with the available word and / or letters? Give us the answer referee

Sallied was fine. If there is nowhere to go at all new word can be chosen and plurals have always been allowed we would be stuck too much otherwise.

I think we had this problem before, proper nouns are frowned upon but if they are the only way to move forward and not made up for example saying thinshef is the name of a place in eastern asia, when it isn't is strictly prohibited.
