Defending

I have always been critical of our defending the past few seasons but this season (today especially) was the best defending I have seen from us in a long time. Well impressed with Morrison and Taylor and our full backs are doing their jobs really well.

    We have not conceded a goal from open play since the Rochdale game. The back four are all a class act.

    The back four today were awesome but is there something that could be better in front of the centre backs? I mean defensively.

    Na, midfield we have is fine, they could just do what they do a little better if you wanted to be picky. Sometimes they sit to deep and invite pressure onto the entire team. near the end of matches.

    Maybe it was a first half second half thing because it was spot on in the second half.

    We have not conceded a goal from open play since the Rochdale game. The back four are all a class act.
    And if you count set-pieces as NOT in open play, we haven't conceded a goal from open play in the league since the 2-2 draw with Scunthorpe (excluding Rochdale, of course).
