What a legend!!

Name was Steve and he was on his way back from Sheffield.

Number 1 moan NO BLOODY PIES AT HALF TIME......LOL

Then moaned that there was only 20k at the game and Sheff Utd didnt sing at all?

He then said that Charlton fans are drinking all over Sheffield celebrating un touched!!!! He seemed gutted it wasen't going off everywhere...lol

They then went on to say after he finished "It was like talking Ray Winston" hahahaha

    Sounded a bit arrogant to me as he made out that it was all one way traffic...we came under a fair amount of pressure, especially in the first half, so I'm not sure what he was on about!

    He was also digging them out on their attendance and using our 22K fans against Chesterfield (as a result of the fiver deal) as an example; made him sound a bit daft TBH.

    The catering manager from Blades rang in to explain that they had only catered for 800 away fans and were suprised by the turnout on the day. Was very complimentary about our lot in general.

    what made the numpty cater for only 800 especially on a sunny day like today?

    Only 800 pies? Andy Reid would have been disappointed........!

    Some people seem to forget what it's like to be at a difficult away match .........and come away with a WIN.
    The emotion of the moment, the euphoria ......like winning our own mini-cup final. MAGIC!     

    All you can think about is ....we have 3 points, we're top.
    5 points clear .......what a DAY! CHARLTON!!! Come on you REDS!!!!!!!

    And some people expect you to talk sense????????

    What about the plank on afterwards who kept saying the ref was "entitled" to send Rodwell off. Of course he's entitled, he's the bloody ref!!!

    Yep "our" caller was a refreshing change to the usual dross spouted by most of the pratts that seem to be given air time.

    Sounded like Danny Dyer's dad............thought he was going to call Sheffield Utd fans 'mugs' and talk about 'our manor'. He will get a part in 'Football Factory 6' and 'Green Street 12' no doubt. The sad thing about that call, is that he was being serious about his surprise about our fans drinking and singing in Sheffield pubs unchallenged................. actually, isn't that a good thing? If it was a deliberate ironic comedy sketch it was mildy amusing, if he was serious then it is a worry. His comments about the crowd yesterday were embarrassing - he tried to give the impression that 22,000 is the normal crowd at The Valley, which we all know is not true. A mate in the pub said 'No wonder everyone thinks that Charlton fans are f..ing idiots'........ and he was a Charlton fan!

    doubt people think charlton fans are idiots and if they did more likely to be our more quirky fans that talk about the seating comfort at away games and the the new goalkeeping top in the superstore that looks wrong on them .

    Heard it driving back. He was funny but shame he didn't take the time to talk about OUR team rather then just slating the pies and their attendances.

    When you have crowds in their thousands, it will refelct the whole of society. Unfortuantely, a small handful in society are below monkeys in terms of intellect and we are going to have one or two of those -it is the law of averages. They are a very small minority and most are harmless though and as a whole our fans are special.

    BTW, many congratulations to Sheffield that our fans were well respected by the sound of it on Saturday. A huge positive for their club and city.
