  • good and it should get higher the longer the season goes on.
  • Very decent home support
  • Will they get more than 20,000 today?

17,956 was Sheff U's best (against Bury 4-0)

This gives more weight to the argument that Sheff Wed are a bigger club than Sheff Utd, especially as Sheff Utd are doing the better of the two.

Wednesday are a far bigger team.

Incredible figures for a third level division.

Must have been 1,200 Charlton fans yesterday. We sung all game and were brilliant. My best away game by far!

If the Sheff Weds home game hadn't had to be played on a Skymonday, we'd have had at least a couple thousand more on the gate.

Many Weds fans on the forum at the time said they wouldn't be travelling because it was a Monday night.
And I guess we'd have had more walk up fans of our own on a Saturday.

More than at Selhurst for arguably their biggest game of the season (except Brighton)

Was great to see the Addicks in numbers, sat outside the pub at the Sheffield station at about 2pm on my way to the ground. I walked down London Road in club shirts with no problems before or after the match. maybe the Utd fans are mellowing, lol. They'll be back i'm sure at some point in future! the BBC are'nt known for being very gentlemanly, so i take it they are in small numbers these days.
