A big thank you to Large Addick for donating this shirt to the Bromley Addick/Charlton Life Auction to raise money to help buy a minibus for the CAFC Academy.

This is a yellow with blue trim Le Coq Sportif away shirt from the 1999 Championship season.  Size 58"/60"

The shirt is in perfect condition and has been signed by four of the all time great Addicks; Andy Hunt, Dean Kiely;Mark Kinsella and Chris Powell.

A fantastic memento from our last promotion season (before this one)

The shirt is for sale by auction.  The auction end next Tuesday 11 October at 5.00pm.  The winner will need to pay postage or be willing to collect

The opening bid for this shirt is £20

Can't say but we're not paying for a whole bus. Just making a contribution towards some.
  • still...would be good to know how much one costs

...and how much the auctions have raised so far

of course we won't come close...

but still...it might inspire a few bids, too :)
  • I'm going to play the waiting game on this one

We (that's all of you) have raised £1,370 so far although a few people still need to play up.(you know who you are!)

We've set ourselves the target of £2,000 and that's what we've told the Club we'll put into the minibus pot.

I can't say how much a minibus costs because I don't know.  The price will depend on where the Club have sourced them and what, if any deals, have been made.  Not being awkward just can't say.  Even if I did have the figures I think that would be for the Club to announce first.

Paul Hart really wants the boys to be able to travel in good quality vehicles that can carry them and all the kit etc to games in comfort and safety and that represent the Club well.

Anything you spend on these auctions will go direct to that £2,000 so if there are items you want and you can afford it then please bid.
  • nice one

I suggest putting the 'amount raised so far' and 'target' figures in every auction post.... just to help spur bidders...

'tis a good thing your doing there

The bid is £50 which is a steal for a shirt signed by four such players.
