Thanks for this, Airman.  Can the club do anything to get them to reach an earlier decision?  We are planning to come down from Glasgow that weekend - all set to go to the O2 for the tennis on Fri and Sun, with Charlton v Huddersfield fitting nicely in the middle.  Until this...!

Not the only one - look at Algarve above!  Just shows the inconvenience caused by the likes of Sky...!

Actually that would really please me as I've got something on the Saturday and was going to have to miss it.

Please Sky, move it to the Monday!

Season ticket holder having to travel from Cornwall, my choice i know but def moving back next year, bit naffed off with sky. This is the second game ,if it happens, where I have bought my  advance train tickets that are non refundable.

Will contact sky as a paying customer, chances of anything off my monthly direct debit?

ps  Game  switched to monday would mean 1 possibly 2 days off work, no more hols left.

We have the same information as Huddersfield and reached similar conclusions to some of you. But if they want CAFC v Huddersfield, why wait? We're both out of the Carling Cup already.

What is the latest they can wait before advising the clubs?

So Sky are going to give about 3/4 weeks notice of this.  Anyone know what's the shotest notice they are obliged to give, if any? (presumably there must be some minimum prior notice required, if only to the clubs concerned)

Right... that's you and Kinveachy off the Christmas card list.

At least I will be able to console myself with the Bromley game in the Kent cup the day after we arrive...

Wouldn't be too disappointed with this. Booked a weeks break in Egypt before the fixtures came out and was resigned to missing this. Shifting it to Monday helps maintain my 5 year ever-present record.

It's scheduled for the day after my birthday. Rubbish if it gets moved. Ill still go on the Monday but will, as people say affect the crowd.

Hope you see this as constructive critisim airman, but any chance of the club sharing this information as Huddersfield have done?         I only  point this out, as being a long distance season ticket holder, I have to get my train tickets in advance & they are non refundable.

As I wrote above, Sky are showing a Premier League game that night, can't see them putting a league 1 game on at the same time cblock.

Good news for you then Algarve!

Happy if it doesn't get moved, Monday night games are a hassle and nothing beats a 3 pm Saturday game for me. I'm still disappointed at the Orient game being moved on NYE

Saw that, thanks for the information Algarve, we will both be happy we can watch the Match now:-)

Was trying to point out though, with a bit of news from the club about potential sky games as Hudds did, I could make an informed choice to buy/or not, my train tickets in advance. Not a dig at the club as they generally pass on  news to fans very well, just a suggestion.

Stoke and Blackburn are scheduled for that Monday (28th
Nov) but both are still involved in the Carling Cup with 5th round being
that week if either go through. So we wont know until after the week of the 24th (4th round week) october if our game is going to be moved.

    I think thats right.

  • Screw this if it happens.
Like others I book my travel (from Dorset) way in advance to get the best deals.
Can't make Monday night games anymore.

Normally I would agree Stu. But see my earlier comment for why, on this occasion, they can f**k right off. Come on Liverpool & Newcastle!!!!
