Well, was it in or out?
I haven't seen it on any TV show, but I was convinced at the time that it was inside.
Can anyone confirm?

The ref gave it on where Hollands landed, not where the offense happened
  • Powell said replays showed that push on Hollands was inside the area - "100 per cent" - instead of FK on edge of the box. #cafc

Definitely inside from where I was. If the ref gave it from where he landed it would have been from off the pitch

Seen the replay, definitely inside the box.
  • I haven't seen the replay, but gut feeling was that it took place just inside the box. That decision balances out with the dodgy pen that he did give us.

Seeing the replay makes me think it was inside, but looked outside from the ref's perspective, as weird as that sounds. The pen he did give was charitable so I won't moan too much.

On what basis was the penalty he gave us charitable?
  • It was defiantly in the box and I could see that from the east stand.

Again I haven't seen the replay so it might be more evident what the foul was when I see it again, but it looked soft to me.

The Stephens pass from the resulting free kick was absolutely shocking!

he should have passed it to Wiggins who was in acres of space and just waiting for a chance to shoot on the edge of the box.

I'll be charitable and put it down to one of those training ground moves that looks good in practice but doesn't quite work in an actual game.

It worked against Chesterfield to be fair
  • We should have had 2 pens rather than one.

If we had got the 1st penalty I dont think we would of got the 2nd one!!!!

100% inside the box. That ref was a joke as was their keeper.

In fairness Tranmere should have had a penalty for handball in the first half. Some you get, some you don't. That's life.
