hang on, who played in goal in the upton park era - bolder wasn't it? i think that's it now - salmon is probably the first one i can vividly remember, my dad was taking me to football years before i knew what was going on - he was never going to run the risk of losing me to spurs/westham/le arse0

I have no idea who scored the first goal (too young to remember what match it was), but do know that Charlie Wright was in goal, because apparently I commented about the keeper looking good to my Dad afterwards - it was then he knew I was hooked, even though he thought Charlie Wright was a clown!0
