I'd go for the best of both and say 5-0.... but if I had to pick, I'd probably go 5-2 as well, just for the excitement!

5-2 is better in terms of league position, unlikely to finish level on points and gd but if it did happen.

Other than that, to put 5 past a team expected to be up there at the end of the season (even if they are in a bad spell) is always good, but a clean sheet helps confidence.

But how many times do you get to see your team score 5? 5-2 for me.

5-2 although a clean sheet is always nice
  • 5-2, however being 5 up , it would have been nice to keep it like that. Having said that if we had been 2-2 during the game and then went on to score 3 more, would have been great.

At half time my daughter asked me if I'd rather win 4-0 or 8-4 and i went for 4-0 as 8-4 means you're playing a crap team and can't defend.  However, that's not the question, so I don't know why I wrote it.

    5-2.

5-2 all day long , letting in 2 goals will hopefully kick us up the pants to do well in the next match.
  • How about 4-1?

3 points every time. Goal difference will look after it self.

5-2 for the practical reason that goals scored could come into the equation as well as the obvious greater entertainment value.

I asked my brother the same question after the match and we both agreed 5-2, the two goals definitely took the shine off things though.

I like seeing goals, so 5-2 for me. Especially when their 2 come when we're comfortable and have already won the game.

Bucking the trend, 3-0 every time. Teams that win things start with a rock solid defence. I am glad that we have made that last five minute error now which has given CP an opportunity to make his point firmly in amongst the euphoria.
