Just listened to Stan who spoke very eloquently about the whole racism issue and whilst I'm not generally a great fan of his he summed the key points up really well. Didn't think Talksport would take the whole issue so seriously!

I think this week has proved how important the work the FA is doing is and I hope it continues.

    I think he's a wally but do agree with allot he says. At least he's not Robbie 'Youve never played the game' Savage.

    I can't take anything this loud mouthed woman beater, band wagon jumper onner and ex 'dogger' says seriously . If he and the above mentioned Savage are the best that Radio can find for punditry purposes then Radio along with much TV and many Newspapers is on the slide down into the lowest common denominator gutter

    Perhaps you should listen to what he said as he spoke more sense about the racism issue than any other pundit I've heard.Should he not be allowed to express oponions?

    I fail to see what his nocturnal activities with other consenting adults has to do with his views on racism.  Still let's not let prejudice get in the way eh?  Wife beating is another thing altogether

    It wasn't his wife he beat up so publicly, it was his 'girlfriend'. As stated, Collymore has a right to his opinion. In MY opinion, the fact that SportsTALK has employed a man of Collymore's mettle to act as a spokesman and arbitrator on moral issues is a farce and I for one will not give whatever he says any credence as he is merely, in MY opinion, an ex footballer with more mouth than brain. Being employed by a tabloid style radio station does not make Collymore's opinion anymore valuable than anyone elses.

    You are of course entitled to your opinion but do you apply these same high moral standards to EVERYONE who gives an opinion?  You might only end up listening only to your own.  As far as Savage is concerned I disregard what he says, not because of any moral views but because he talks bollocks.

     and when it comes to living  l i f e ... you gotta listen mostly to yourself , however self opinionated that one way conversation may be, and get on with it

    Confession time .....ssssshhhhhhhh ... I quite enjoy the Keyes and Gray programme except for the false laughter, metaphorical backslapping and self congratulation. ANY sports programme presenters (well almost any) are better than Colin Mooooray and Mark Pugwash
