Sullivan - 7 Pulled off a few great saves to keep Carlisle out.

Solly - 8 Solid as rock. again. Nothing is getting past this lad.

Morrison - 9 Here, there and everywhere. Could have scored in the first half. Even had an assist for his goal!

Cort - 8 Solid and dependable. Nothing got past him and good distribution.

Wiggins - 8 Superb at the back got in the way of everything.

Green - 7 Not as effective but had a right go and was unlucky with the shot from the halfway line.

Hollands - 7 Should have scored in the first half but as always worked his socks off.

Pritchard - 8 Started off slow but then as the game wore him he began to command the midfield.

Evina - 7 Quite pacey, looks like he could be useful when called upon. One for the future.

Hayes - 5 Gave the ball away far too often in good positions ( 3 times in the space of about 5 seconds in the 1st minute! )

Wagstaff - 6 Should have scored when put through. Not as effective but probably due to being played up front.

 

Euell - Glad to see him get a goal. Great cross from Kermorgant for the assist.

BWP - Should have scored when one on one with the keeper.

Kermorgant - Superb cross for Euells goal.

Sullivan 6.5 - couple of decent saves but his kicking was woeful

Morrison 8 MOM - quite why he didn't fit in at the Wendys is beyond me, he's a great defender .

Cort 7 - bit of a hump it merchant but solid enough

Wiggins 7 - has had better games but he's class

Green 8 - worried Carlisle throughout

Hollands 6.5 - see Wiggins

Pritchard 8 - I just love watching this guy play.  He plays every game like it might be his last.

Evina 7 - never seems to have a bad game

Hayes 6.5 - led the line ok, on another day his clever flicks would have worked. Always puts a shift in.  

Wagstaff 7 - I really like him up front, no BWP but Carlisle really struggled with his movement second half.

Sullivan - 7.5 clean handling and good saves at critical points

Solly - 8 as 'nuggety' as ever.  I actually felt sorry for his winger

Morrison - 8.5 HUGE. Won everything and scored when we needed to show our dominance

Cort - 7 was beaten in the air more than he should have been and was a bit ponderous but improved in the second half

Wiggins - 7 slightly hesitant going forward first half but much better in the second

Green - 7 started slowly but got more into the game in the second half. I assume the substitution was partly to avoid any chance of a yellow which would have led to a ban and also allowed a change of tactics

Hollands - 8.5 MOM for me the midfield general with excellently timed tackles and defence splitting passes. And wins headers!! 

Pritchard - 8 after today's performance SCP will know he has another midfielder who can slot in as we pursue our promotion run.

Evina - 6 A bit lightweight. Too easily taken off the ball although he is skilful.

Hayes - 6.5 First half he didn't hold the ball, trying flicks which didn't come off so the ball came straight back. Improved second half.

Wagstaff - 5.5 Like Hayes the ball didn't stick but unlike Hayes I saw no improvement. He also fails to fight hard enough for a 50-50 ball

feel as though want to give difffernt marks for each half for some players

Hollands - 7 ( probably harsh but starting to expect so much from him)

Pritchard - 7.5 ( whicich is prob 6.5 first half and 8.5 second half - what did CP say to him a half time!)

Evina - 7 ( again much better second half)

Hayes - 5

Wagstaff - 7 ( felt sorry for him 1st half - Hayes touch was so bad he had nothing to feed off)

Sullivan - 8 Superb display when you consider the lack of match practice.

Solly - 8 Defended really well and that's his strength.

Morrison - 8 Carried on his great form.

Cort 8 - Once him and Morrison sorted out who should go for what he was dominant.

Wiggins - 7 Defended well and did his best to get forward.

Green - 7 I like his vision. The long shot just wide and the pass over the top were examples.

Hollands - 7.5 Gives us solidity in the middle.

Pritchard - 8.5 Always seemed to choose the right pass and that's the knack. Hadn't seem him tackle before but he was strong. Skillful too.

Evina - 6 Got better in the last quarter but was way off it in the first half. Looked like a left back playing left-mid.

Hayes - 5 And I might be being kind. I'm not even sure he tried that much in the first half (he certainly did in the 2nd). Showed little intelligence...needed to keep it simple rather than first time flicks. Sadly it was a bit like watching Pawel Abbott rather than Andy Hunt.

Wagstaff - 5.5 Did have the pace to get in behind Carlisle but wasn't man enough and spent a lot of time on the floor (grizzling). Had a better 2nd half and nearly scored.

It is hard for the players who have been out of the team but some can cope with it and others can't. Not every player is going to have a great season but I hope it comes good for Hayes because on his day he can be very good and offer something a bit different. It was an enjoyable 2nd half and well done to Powell for bringing on the two strikers. And well done to Euell for busting a gut to get on the end of Kermongant's excellent cross.
