It's that time of year again. Not Christmas but the 19th Anniversary of the Return to the Valley game on 5th December 1992.
So it seems that this would be a good time to include one of the gems of the Charlton Life/Bromley Addicks auctions.
This is a framed limited edition print (399 of 750) of the first game back at the Valley. It was painted by Terence Macklin, the well known sporting artist, who has also signed the print.
Another of the prints hangs to this day in the boardroom at the Valley. With frame this is 34'' x 26'' and in almost good as new condition.
Just a great record of a fantastic day. As it is so special the bidding for this item starts at £75 and even that would be a steal.
Usual auction rules. Winner collects or pays postage. Closing date is 5.00 pm on Wednesday 7th December. Happy bidding.

That's Pitcher in the foreground by the way.
I've also got this........... in my loo which contains most of my Addicks memorabilia.
There's a plaque on the door which reads....."The Shrine."

I remember that picture at the time. Always thought it didn't stack up somehow. That's Pitcher doing his "great turn for a limited player" bit, but it's down in the corner flag for some bizarre reason. Good luck to those bidding, but for that reason I'm out.0

There are no defenders at the end we're attacking. How come we only won 1-0?0

We had Leaburn playing up front! : - )
Now mentioned on CAFC twitter. We have to ask them to mention this auction.

I'll refrain from bidding again so I don't mess up your trip to Oz Henry!
Or would you prefer an all-expenses paid experience to Harlow?

My wife went to School in Harlow (Mark Hall) and I'll be visiting the in-laws in Bishops Stortford/Great Notely over Christmas in any case so bid away.
With my luck it's the Perth in Scotland where St Johnstone play.
