great draw in my opinion mainly in that we can enjoy a good day out, with a big away following and do have some chance of winning although obviouslywe will be underdogs. I reckon they will give us the whole end as they won't sell out - its a low key game for them like it would have been for us 5 or 6 years ag and they will probably play a slightly weakened side. All in all, this will be a good day out and we'll generate a great atmosphere there and thats what its all about so i'm well pleased with it.

I must have missed something there. Lunch & wine?
I assumed that from your user name you came from that posh estate where
the old West Malling airfield used to be and where the Hermanator lived
no? Traditional Sunday lunch and all that, nice bottle of wine, nudge
    nudge, wink wink.

I haven't read this whole thread but is there a chance this match will be on a Sunday what with Chelsea being at home to Portsmouth on the same day?

We had spurs away last season which was great so I was a bit bored of this one at 1st to be honest.

Thinking about it, it is a great draw and a great test for us. Mediocre prem side like fulham ticks all the boxes and we have a chance to be the underdogs and really have a go at them.

It will be interesting to see how we perform. I think Chrissy wanted a tie like this to gauge us. I'm happy. Wanted a London derby against a prem club.
  • Good draw. Brings back happy memories of winning there in the 4th round back in '81.
We are more than capable of causing an upset.

Will this go on general sale?
  • Anyone know when ticket details etc will be announced?
  • The Lass & I will come down for this one if we can get tickets, but as we aren't season ticket holders..........?

Personally I think it's a complete disgrace that the club haven't announced ticket details yet. I mean, the draw was made at least an hour ago.
    SORT IT OUT AIRMAN!

What do you expect ? After Fulhams number was called out he nearly ran off to get a Sweet and Sour Chicken.

Got three of them wrong.  Must be tough, doing something like that in your second language.   Well done to Jim Rosenthal for holding it all together.

But why was he doing it?!

Because the FA Cup had been on tour to China or something and he'd been out there 'promoting' it.

Jim Rosenthal Looks the same as he did in the 80's. Is the draw his only gig on tv these days? only time I seem to see him.

FA trying to maximise overseas interest (and revenue). Havent they just touted the FA cup round China, or some such?
