  • Tom Hanks - Villa? I'm pretty sure Clarkson hates football as much as he hates public sector workers.

Wasn't Tony Blair quoted somewhere as saying he used to stand on the Gallowgate end and watch Jackie Milburn playing alongside Malcolm Macdonald!!!!

Pixxie Lott is Charlton and West Ham.
Yep, her mum is West Ham, dad is Charlton, but she reckons she's more of a West Ham fan, born in Bromley and raised in Petts Wood
Pixxie Lott was in the hospitality lounge at Spurs in the Cup game last year.
  • Jools Holland, how come he is not on the list?
And who was the Man United striker that supports us?
  • Wasn't Gary Bushell Charlton? Or was he a longtail?

    Gavin Peacock?

Doesn't Bob Crow go to Dagenham?
  • I'm still sure Haye is really Arsenal, but people at Bacon's say he was always Millwall & obviously came down The Den after he won the title.

Crow is Millwall, down there quite a lot, was standing behind me at QPR away last season too. He was at Dagenham for a jolly up weren't he? Or was that at Orient? Where he abused one of the managers. Clearly a Millwall fan.

  • the list is abit poor to be honest, they have taken people that come from that area and made them fans. i used to work with ricky gervais on a regular basis being his agents assistant and i can 200% tell you he has about as much football knowledge as as i do quantum physics..

Reading this, I keep hearing the name Pixie Lott. Sounds like a good name for the Irish lottery. May I be the first to say "I have absolutely no idea who this woman (I assume?) is..........................

You should definately google image her. You will find it worth your while
  • Denzel Washington supports Millwall?

I don't think he's ever seen us, but in 89 (I think) he was in a film called For Queen & Country, about a returning soldier, he came back to SE London and played a Millwall fan who got involved on the terraces as a release as he struggled to adapt to normal life.

There was an interview on R4 I think in the past couple of years where he said he's "more Millwall than Manchester United" cos of that film.

A tenuous link granted, but stronger than to any other club and I'll claim it cos he's a quality actor! Daniel Day-Lewis & Denzil Washington...not bad.

Neil Morrissey was at the Valley for the palarse pre season friendly many moons ago, was in the East stand, we asked him what he was doing there and he said he had just bought a flat in the area, unbeknown to us at the time that he was a stripey nigel, good job for him really and quick thinking as then in my bad old hoolie days he would have got filled in.

I used to see him in the pub just around the corner from the valley before most games during the 90's (forget the name as I was only young)

LOL easy now fella. So any other famous Charlton fans? :)

  • Anyone got any info on David Jason?

Rodney's middle name was Charlton and also if you have seen Albert's memorial with David Jason in, it has the whole Charlton Athletic seen which i find quite amusing.
