Many thanks to the 17 Lifers who gave marks, a pretty poor show for the number of fans at the match, but perhaps it reflects the on pitch performance.

There have been a number of remarks about the BBC stats for this game as they showed only 1 shot on target. The Football League stats are the same but they go into more detail and show how each player performed. From this officially Ephraim was the only player to have a shot on target so I have added Kermorgant as he scored and Hollands as he headed the ball straight at the goalie who was on  his line in the goal. In the detailed discipline stats they show 6 players who fouled rather than 7 as shown n the compressed stats. Finally Ephraim header looped onto the bar in the final minute so I have given him a hit woodwork.

£15 fine for 5 yellow cards! Now that is funny.
  • Cheers Lancs
  • Blimey, comparing to last season shows just how bad that season was re points totals for top teams!

So, the top 5 all have more points than Brighton had this time last year.

I think it may need at least 92 points to get promotion this season.

  • Thanks Lancs , and thanks for the rules on bookings!

    Great stuff lancs.

Just some observations; The attendance figures (not for Ohh Arhh eyes) but should it be Charlton 1,065 (23%) and Walsall 3,472 (77%) which makes the total attendance 4,537?

And of course we have completed 43% of our matches.

  • Solidgone - sorry you've lost me there, the attendance figure for the home team is always the total in the ground, whilst the away team figures is the number of away fans.Your split is of course correct and whatever they might say I think we made more than 23% of the noise!

ps a minor point Lancs  - would you mind changing "Wendies" to "Sheff Weds" or similar in the next promometer?

Salad, rest assured that no Wendies were harmed in the making of these stats.
  • Salad you are of course quite correct, but I am a little disrespectful myself so Wendies stays for 2011/12 but Sheff Wed is there for previous years in the Promometer.

maybe, but the points are similar to 2009-10 when Leeds went up with 86. they did limp over the line that year though.

  • RM - think you hit the nail on the head there, it is FA regs which spread across every spectrum of English football, so the Sunday game on the rec is the same as the Saturday game at the Valley?

farcial fine really for a pro. means it's a penalty for the club rather than the individual. Anybody else fancy a week off work for £15 fine
