    Rarely go to away games still attend every home game, started going in 60s & since then have been to over 70 grounds all over the country & of course a lot of those multi times but decided a few years back that there were other things I'd rather be doing than getting chased out of pubs in some northern outpost. Does this make me less of a fan than those who do go to away games ? I couldn't give a shit to be honest, my money my choice but top marks to those who do make the effort.

    Just read through this thread and saw this, think it's a very fair point. One example was at Brentford last month where before the game and the bottom stand started feeling up, a group who went to the cup game
    This is exactly why I rarely go to away games.
