Collected just over £400 on yesterdays walk (tho' the RiverBar in Greenwich was closed when we got there:anyone know anything ?)
We will be making up the foodparcels at 1pm on Thursday 9th December this year if anyone has a spare hour or so to help out.
Also waiting for Antony to get back to us on the BusPull at The John Evelyn.

My mum was born in Deptford - Childerick Rd - 1921 - The street is probably no longer there - but pleased the spirit has not left - Congratulations on what you do - wish I could donate a million - I am still a Millwall fan-watched them in the mid 60's - Lawrie Leslie / Alex Stepney - they were great 'keepers - Keep it going Paul and friends - My very best - Graham (Buster) Graham Tutt0

Cliffie Harley 3 December 12:53 Just a quick note informing You that The George Boys & Girls of Deptford are celebrating their 55th year this year.
Founded in 1956, its a group that has given to and Supported OAPs at Christmas.
This year we are making up around 100 food parcels at "The Lower Sydenham Social Club" in Laurel Grove, SE26 on Thursday 8th December, between 2 and 5 pm.
The money is raised through various Pubs in SE London, and by a "Charity Walk/Raffle" we have every August.
