After Orient we are planning on heading out after.

Not usually fussed about NYE as more often than not it's shite, as i'm sure most places in London will be that night.

But if anyone can recomened an area of London that is a bit of a hidden gem, which won't be touristy and dead expensive, but where there might be some decent reasonably busy pubs/bars, a bit of eye candy and maybe a club that don't cost a days wages to get into, then please fire away........

Our group are mainly late 20's if that matters.

Any suggestions welcome.

Cheers.

For god sake, dont go to Brick Lane for a curry.   Head to Whitechapel, just up the road instead.  Check out New Tayyabs or Needos Grill.  Absolutely awesome food and much better than anything you'll get on Brick Lane.

Won't theses areas be ticket only on NYE? Hoxton Square will almost definitely be.

Or the excellent Lahore on Commercial Road. Then you can wind up Brick Lane from there. Vibe Bar or 93 Feet East will be good venues but probably better to equire about getting tickets in advance.

Most roads are completely closed between Victoria and about St pauls from late afternoon.

I have exact deatils of areas and times if anyone is interested

this presumably also means no taxis or buses in this area

  • Hoxton is equal males to females on all Friday/Saturdays alone, let alone nye. I'd stick to just the normal pubs

Most of the women I used to meet had!

My thinking was that as he would probably be on the beer from say midday a curry would soak all that up before the next session commences.
