    Agree, guilty pleasure.
  • Cracking film. Just what Jim Carrey should stick to doing - playing manic characters with an edge. Not quite as good as me, Myself and Irene, but definitely up there. I'll throw another one out there - Bad Santa.

    Guy Pearce.
  • Heavenly Creatures is a film I've never heard anyone talk about, but I like it - it's really intense.

Grease - it was rated U, but with lots of sexual references and swearing in the songs, it should have been a PG.

Only Cable Guy so far could be considered underrated. So I'm going to pick a film that most people think is naff 'Armageddon'. It's dumb but its fun and has Steve Buscemi in it.

Joe Pesci won The Oscar for best supporting actor -

A million miles away from being underrated.
  • The Mist and Bad Santa are great shouts.  Thought The Mist in particular was very good, and the ending isn't easily forgettable.

The mist is fantastic, love the ending, was not expecting that one!

Always thought snakes on a plane was quite funny - maybe because i went to watch it on the premise it would be the worst film i have ever seen

The Mist is so damn depressing, kinda spoilt it for me the way people kept going on about the ending. Wasn't really surprised by it as I was expecting something along those lines.
I enjoyed the film but I found some of the characters to be quite tedious, especially the religious nut.

Was going to mention 'the mist' but with an imdb rating of 7.3 its not really underrated.
