'Heavens Gate'. Visually terrific but not helped by half of it ending up on the cutting room floor!

    Sweeney2.

Top quality. Great banter amongst the squad, good humour and superb action. Much better than the first film but never gets a mention.

I didn't know there was a film about our goalkeeping coach.  Loads of great suggestions, lot's I haven't seen, look forward to catching them.

Friends of Eddie Coyle, best late era Mitchum, and an AMAZING book by George V Higgins.  A load of wiseguys, reaching middle age, with no pension, no future, barely affording to meet their debts/obligations, and their next stretch being permanent or they'll be found dead on a bridge.  Just no bullshit, glamourous clothes/lives, with no bollox music-multiple-murder montage towards the end.  And it has a scene at Boston Gardens with the great Boston Bruins team of the early 70's, Booby Orr and all.

The boat that rocked fits the bill perfectly, loved it, but still only gets two stars...

The Libertine is a great film that went by a bit unnoticed.

So disappointed in the Libertine was looking forward to it for years.  Rochester deserved more.  Though the scene at the House of Lords was good.

Cry Wolf, written by Stan Hey. A spoof short film that I saw with Airplane in 1980. Corny or what. Anyone else recall this?

The Boat That Rocked is an awful, awful film. Boring and typical cheesey bollocks from richard curtis.

Had two cats when I was younger named Cheech and Chong. My mum still never sussed I was a teenager stoner!
  • Two to consider -

Gridlock'd with Tim Roth and Tupac.
Mum and Dad, a classic, twisted Brit horror flick.

I thought KFM was great, as long as you'd seen enter the dragon first.

The Onion owes a lot to the KFM
