Thought Dawson was outstanding when we played Orient a couple of years ago but don't rush in on that basis Chris, as it could have been a one off and even i need more than 90 minutes to be 100% sure.0

In honesty - he was Leicester's golden boy in the summer and I think BCFC turned down something like £6m for him. If we were to go for him it would mean our Mysterons are absolutely minted.

I doubt very much if there will be one marquee signing let alone two. I expect to see one good signing along the same lines as in pre season and then a couple of additional fringe players. Nett outlay? Probably between £0.5 and £1m0

Read a report yesterday that Leicester were going to offer £3m PLUS Beckford for Maynard. I'd be very happy with Schlupp at this stage from what I saw of him in some of their cup games.

I thought he'd go to Everton in the summer but I imagine that's off if they're inviting bids now. Leicester haven't paid over the odds for a player in a few months now so I imagine they're the obvious choice
