my cup of tea sitting with the home fans. I get a excitable and forget where I am!

So am I right in thinking that the stewards at Foolham don't care if you are not sitting/standing in your specified position?0
-
My boy stood on his seat for the full 90 at the Manure game we went to at Fulham - first time he's done that and been taller than me as well (sigh).
The entire Putney End was stood throughout, the atmosphere was great and not one complaint from anybody as far as I could tell.
But then again, we are Charlton and we do like a moan.
I propose sitters go in the Fulham ends. They sat all game and were nice and quiet.

Having a good day out meeting up with my dad uncle and bro in law plenty of beers and a good old sing song !!!!
not looking forward to the journey down early start late finish!!!

Do you think Charlton fans will sing, or sit there waiting for the inevitable pasting , I would love it for our lot to sing from the word go, and carry on regardless of the score, im sure the players will appreciate it.0

I'm in P7 and deffo will be standingin P7...just looked on their website where P7 is :-(
I think that is where I am, when a seat is declared restricted view.. nobody can kick off when you stand

Im row GG in P3, its only my 4th away game of the season, I was Valley Gold number 57, was in the town hall for the famous BTTV meeting, had a season ticket since 1983 and proud to be a plastic in fact I think 6,500 of us plastics may outsing you loyals for the day, after all if we loose our voices we wont need them again for a few months until another glory ticket comes along.....;-)

Love standing. Go the odd away game with my west ham mates. Went Nottingham Forest away this year on a sunday, 3000 fans standing. Wolves away last year again all 2,500 were on their feet. Did anyone see Wednesday at Walsall, all 4000 standing. I was in the Leeds end at Arsenal last year in the FA cup, 9000 fans across two tiers, none with their bums on seats.Maybe i'm being inconsiderate, but you wonder how all these team seems to do it without hearing 'Siii daaarnn' from behind them.0

Whats this bollox about plastic fans? I go to as many away games as possible, all the away games we play in London.I may or may not make Sheff as its 170 miles away, not down the road. I don't have £50 plus to shell out on every away game, funnily enough. I certainly can't afford it right now.Why can't you just be proud we managed to shift 7000 tickets for a "less important" game in the first place?0

Thank you! I have been coated for saying we have about 6000 gloryboys goingBouncing!

Plastic and a gloryboy, it just gets better! I didnt go to Halifax or Hartlepool so I must be both...the thought of following Charlton for glory is not something I have ever considered. We are the fans that saved our club, few (and there are a few Brighton etc) can say that, were getting cracking gates at home in an appauling League and have a genuinely good reputation up and down the country with supporters of other clubs for being real, in my early 20's I travelled everywhere with this club, never for glory and when our Selhust crowds were down to 7,000. Well done to all those who dont miss a game, if you have done it for the last 20 plus years without a break I salute you and sorry for being such a glory boy in all your eyes. Now lets just have a great day saturday no matter how many we take.0

I was a 'proper' fan once back in the late 80's going to Selhurst to make sure the club stayed afloat, paying my small amount of Valley Gold money to get the club back to the Valley, travelling up and down the country from Portsmouth to Sunderland - been there seen it done it, now I'm a plastic fan - bore off mate

The 8.04am train from Solihull. Beer. Breakfast. Beer. Lunch. Beer. Beer. Beer.....7000 at an away game, glory or not. Cannot wait!!Then its a quick week at work before doing the same again in Sheffield! ;-)0
-
That's because you're about 15 years old and most of these plastic fans were following the club around the country before you were born.Bouncing!

You don't have to explain yourself SCM.

People moan when we don't take many fans then moan when we take a lot - and it's the same fcuking people moaning ffs!Tells you all you need to know."Glory boys" - Charlton fans? Do me a favour.0 -
I'm afraid to say the thing I'm most looking forward to is flying to Dubai for the England v Pakistan test series!
Good luck to all those going to Craven Cottage. Have a good day out in a match that is a nice luxury and which I hope we draw rather than win ,so we can get a lucrative replay at the Valley. (Am I allowed to say that???)

Following England away now they are no1 in the world eh, plastic glory hunter0
-
I dont care if they are 'glory boys' or whatever cos they make up the 7000 as long as they sing shout and show passion etc.
I'm also deff standing in either P6 or P3...cant remember an cant be bothered to get up an check tbh
