Players that are Charlton fans

Are their any current players in the top four leagues that anyone knows of that are actually Charlton supporters?

I think players like that who you would hope understand what we are going through, feel what we feel will be the way forward next season to get us promoted.

I know perhaps when people like Steve Brown were kids they may not of been Charlton fans but he surely was by the time he left the club and I think commitment that he had will be what we need.

I'm quite sure no one in the current team supports the mighty Addicks.

    From his performances this season I would have guessed Marcus Bent is a lifelong Charlton Fan.

    Not in the English league any more, but apparently Ruud Van Nistelrooy is a Charlton fan....

    there is not one current league player i know of. Recent ones would of been Gavin Peacock and the ex Sheff U keeper Simon Tracey ?

    Well give it 10-15 years and because we have been in the top flight for the last few years their may be a sudden glut of them that have caught the bug recently.

    I was under the impression that Alex Rae was a big Charlton fan, although you would not have thought it especially playing for the other lot from the Toolbox.

    Funny, Mr Weegie and I were just talking about this last night - when Robert Lee popped up on SSN as a West Ham fan. Even some of our most dedicated players weren't eg Spotty Parker and Chris Powell support Spuds. They are a bit thin on the ground! Mind you, Lisbie must be, mustn't he??

    lol nearly every academy player weve had has supported west ham or arsenal, solly can support who he wants, hes been with us for ages so clearly has an affiliation with us, just coz he supports arsenal dont mean he doesnt love playing for this club, hes been here for about a decade
