If they make it to the Final , is that a guaranteed European place, particularly if Man City get through to the final?

They were lucky to win last night, a packed Cardiff City Stadium will be too much for them, they won't get there anyhow.

Nope, Carling Cup winners get a European place if Man City or Liverpool win it and qualify via the league for Europe the place goes down the league, so no need to worry just yet ;-)

The only end result I can see if Palace get to the final is that they will make Wembley Stadium look untidy

I saw that last night when watching on Sky. Doesn't exactly rival the displays you see from Spain.

its really quite sad, there 'ultras' are mainly 14 year old geeks who would run a mile even if they saw henners comming towards them in a charlton scarf. the whole manafactured and pre thought out ultras idea is ridiculus. i see them having a meeting in there dads garage thinking up the next new idea then mummy comes in with bottles of pop and jammy dodgers.. you cant fake atmosphere see all our videos from fulham thats 200% passion and pride and nowt plastic or contrived about it.

I believe their capacity is 28k, I know you had the segregation gap in the Arthur Waite, but never were there 6k seats empty. Tax fiddle?

na, they just arent as well supported as they claim to be.

And when you consider Cardiff would have taken a couple of thousand, no doubt in my mind for a league cup semi final we would have sold out.

I now have a horrible feeling they will get through the 2nd leg and win the cup. It's likely they would play Liverpool now, and as it stands it is them 2 playing in the final.
Palace are a much better football team this year than they were last year and they will give it everything they've got against Cardiff and also possibly Liverpool/city.
On paper Liverpool or City would flattern them as we all know, but alot of it comes down to who wants it more, they already beat United away to get to where they are and will be beaming with confidence.

    It's unfortunate.

A guy who was in my year at school (age 27) is often spotted twirling his scarf on their youtube videos, the shame!

I think their capacity is about 26k.

As Nolly said, Shame the 2nd leg aint at Ninian Park.

Ninian Park at a night game, Palace Players would've bottled it and can you imagine them 'Ultras' doing their sister act song and dance thingy Lol.

Just as I thought Life couldn't get anyworse..............
  • To be honest, we sound like Wednesday fans going on about support and capacity etc. Like anyone, it would wind me up something chronic, but if they won the cup they could have 5 people there. They would still win the cup.
