It's been decided that this will be the song for big Yann (to the tune of the marsellaies or however it's spelt like the cantona song) - no more threads needed on it. Let's do it tomorrow. If you want to wear a beret, striped top and onions as will, feel free.

    There will be a minimum of 15 singing it in block L and i have a 6 man 'party' positioned near to the drum.

    fair enough, liked the french pele one to the tune of the fa cup who gives a f*** too! no reason we cant sing both as this cantona one is short and catchy to be sang loud..
    can someone decide on definitive ones for hollands, pritchard, wiggins and hamer too (from the songs v sheff utd thread and the various other threads) so everyones clear on what to sing saturday...

    are you lads responsible for the 'we are sailing' tempo 'we are charlton' - if so, keep it up, i'm liking your work and agree about the speed singing - young amateurs, they're ruining the old classics.

    Okay, good man Granpa. it's a shame there hasn't been more of an avalanche of agreement but people don't like having things decided for them and don't like the French. In this case i hope we can put all that to one side and give Kermo a proper valley welcome. He's ran himself into the ground and put his body (and head) on the line in every game he's played for us.

    So ..... how come no song has been made for him then? Its really frustrating and a bit embarassing the fact that hes been miles better than BWP but the crowd still give him a singing ovation when he does something half as good as Yann.

    So I've decided to make it as easy as possible for all those who start the songs in the upper north

    The same poxy tune as all our other songs (He's better than shaun)
