Have i missed something or perhaps its silly me because you were able to hit the quote button and comment on views given by a CL member. Now i cant comment on anything 20 posts before because it does not make sense because there is no quote button. Methinks it maybe that tea leaf cook who's been nicking everything that not screwed down. ADMIN please help me.

I was thinking the same as Charlton villager. Not as brave as he is. Did not want to admit in case it was something everyone knew how to get back up. There. Said it now.
• I don't seem to have it either.

Haven't tried it yet but saw this on another thread
'Not an option to quote posts, I'm just pasting comments into the text box and then doing the < /blockquote> code around them'
It works!

From the other thread...
Workaround -

Highlight what you want to quote and Press Ctrl+C
Then move the cursor to the Write Comment window and press Ctrl+Q, then Ctrl+V
Move cursor to the end and type your message.

Sorted
And it works

But it's no good if you don't know who made the original quote.

I think that makes us even after your sympathetic response on the Jackson 5 ticket exchange. Biding my time on the other individuals; not that I bear grudges!..............Only joking Beds

I have the qoute icon in Firefox. It is the last icon on the right just above the comment box. Is it different in Safari?

Ok, to get specific here...

Firefox 8.0 - no quote button.
Chrome - 16.0.912.77 - No quote button.
Safari - 5.0.3 - No quote button.

Haven't seen an Internet Explorer Crash since I was a kid, so no comment there!

PS - Dazzler - did you just watch Johnnie Jackson's Rage on Youtube? Either that or there are two Addicks fans called Dazzler. Which would be pretty unlikely.

We are working on getting the Quote button back! In the meantime, either use the @username or the following
words I want to quote

Unquote

Not so sure about the cheese something smells very fishy here.

Tried the copy and paste routine and hey presto!!! its works but i still have to type in who said it and unquote but i suppose its better than nothing, Thanks Macronate.
